You know how usually when humans show “before and after” photos, they’re skinnier in the second one? I’m Bitsy, and that’s NOT what happened to me!
I was so starving when my friends at P.A.W.S. Of Dearborn County, Inc.in Lawrenceburg, IN, saved me that you could count every rib. Now, they’ve helped me put on 25 pounds, and I’m healthy, happy, sleek, and athletic, all thanks to them.
Now I’m hoping it will be thanks to YOU that I’ll find a loving home!
In addition to being one gorgeous dog and a true survivor, I’m bursting with a joy of life and a whole lot of love for humans. I can’t wait to see who you share me with — and to meet my new family!

I’m Ethel, and I’m in charge of adoption ambassador recruitment at STRAY HAVEN Feline Rescue St. Louis in Missouri.
IF you qualify, and at this point that’s highly doubtful, your first task will be pretty much the equivalent of walking into Mordor: Finding ME a forever home.
I’m a raspy old cat, a little cute and a little cranky at the same time. I’ve had a rough life, and it shows, but as I get into what the marketing geniuses call my “golden years,” I’m starting to think all those empty-headed cats who purred and mewed about warm laps and bottomless food bowls weren’t quite as dumb as I always thought they were.
Not that I want to spend too much time with any of them, if you know what I mean.
So, are you up to the challenge, or do you only re-blog the CUTE VIRAL KITTEN-TYPES? Yeah, yeah, I’ve heard you Shelter Pet Project folks are “special,” and the Typing Lady almost had an aneurysm when I said that, but hey, face it: I’m a cynic.
